Description
Bogong is a granite wall cladding in mid to dark grey, with cool blue undertones and occasional splashes of rust and warm beige running through the stone. The random format gives each installation an organic, irregular character - pieces up to 400mm across that fit together the way stone does in nature, without any obvious coursing or repeat.
That quality suits it well to exterior facades, retaining walls, and garden features. It works indoors too, on feature walls and fireplace surrounds where the cooler tones add contrast without competing with the room.
Matching L-shaped corners are available up to 250mm, keeping returns and edges clean. Walling is supplied in 10m² crates, corners in 25 lm crates.
Bogong is laid in a large scale wall display in our showroom - come in to see it up close and pick up a free sample!

FAQ’s
Can Bogong Random be installed outdoors?
Yes. Bogong Random is suited to both indoor and outdoor use, including exterior facades, retaining walls, and outdoor entertaining or barbeque areas. It handles Melbourne's weather without issue.
Is Bogong Random dry stacked or installed with a grout line?
Because the random profile uses irregular, organically shaped pieces, most installers run a grout line to fill the gaps between stones. Dry stacking is possible but requires more careful piece selection to keep joints tight.
How much Bogong Random do I need to order?
Walling is packaged as 10m² per crate and corners as 25 lineal metres per crate, but these are packing references rather than fixed order quantities - we pack off to the exact m² or lm you need rather than requiring you to round up to a full crate. Measure the total wall area and subtract any openings. It's worth ordering a small amount extra to account for cuts, particularly around corners.
What's the difference between Bogong Random and Bogong Strata?
Random uses irregular piece sizes and orientations for a less formal, more organic result. Strata is cut to give a consistent horizontal layering, which produces a more linear, structured look. Both are the same stone, so they can be used together in the same project if you want to mix the two.
Can I see Bogong Random before ordering?
Yes. Bogong Random is on display in our Oakleigh East showroom at wall scale. Free samples are also available to take away. Showroom hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm and Saturday 9am - 3pm.
