Description

Jindabyne is a warm-toned quartz wall cladding with an irregular, rough-split face that gives each piece real surface texture. The stone carries a mix of earthy creams, tawny buffs and occasional cooler grey tones, with enough natural variation across a wall that the finished result never looks flat or repetitive.

The random format - pieces up to 400mm across with a natural finish on all sides and a flat back - can be installed dry-stacked or grouted, which opens up quite different results from the same stone. Dry-stacked reads more rustic and structural; grouted gives a cleaner finish better suited to indoor feature walls and fireplace surrounds.

How is Jindabyne installed?

Pieces are sawn flat on the back and applied to a suitable substrate using standard stone adhesive. Corner units come in L-shapes and interlock to give the appearance of a solid structural wall. Our installation guide covers the full process.

Can Jindabyne be used outdoors?

Yes. As a quartz, it's dense, frost-resistant, and won't deteriorate with moisture or UV exposure. It's regularly specified for exterior facades, alfresco areas, and retaining walls, as well as indoor applications like fireplaces and feature walls.

How much do I need to order?

Walling is packaged as 10m² per crate and corners as 25 lineal metres per crate, but these are packing references rather than fixed order quantities - we pack off to the exact m² or lm you need rather than requiring you to round up to a full crate. Measure the total wall area and subtract any openings. It's worth ordering a small amount extra to account for cuts, particularly around corners.

What colours does Jindabyne come in?

Jindabyne is a warm-toned quartz with earthy creams, tawny buffs and occasional cooler grey running through the stone. The colour sits on the lighter, warmer end of our wall cladding range, which makes it a good fit alongside natural timbers and off-white renders.

Can I see Jindabyne before ordering?

Yes. Jindabyne is on display in our Oakleigh East showroom at wall scale. Free samples are also available to take away. Showroom hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm and Saturday 9am - 3pm.
