Description
Stirling is a granite wall cladding in mid to light grey, with warm rustic undertones running through the cooler, darker tones in the stone. The strata format presents the stone as a linear ledgestone, thin horizontal courses that give a wall real depth and shadow play. It suits an interior feature wall or fireplace surround as readily as an exterior facade or alfresco pillar.
Random sizes up to 600mm long mean no two sections of wall look the same, and matching L-shaped corners are available to finish edges and returns cleanly. Dry stacking is the more common installation choice for strata, since the linear pieces sit tight against each other, though it can also be grouted. Walling is supplied in 10m² crates, corners in 25 lm crates.
Stirling strata wall cladding is laid in a large scale wall display in our showroom, come in to see it up close and pick up a free sample!

FAQ's
How is Stirling Strata installed?
Pieces are sawn flat on the back and applied to a suitable substrate using standard stone adhesive. Corner units come in L-shapes and interlock to give the appearance of a solid structural wall. Our installation guide covers the full process.
Can Stirling Strata be used outdoors?
Yes. As a granite, it's dense, frost-resistant, and won't deteriorate with moisture or UV exposure. It's regularly specified for exterior facades, alfresco pillars, and retaining walls, as well as indoor applications like fireplaces and feature walls.
How much Stirling Strata do I need to order?
Walling is packaged as 10m² per crate and corners as 25 lineal metres per crate, but these are packing references rather than fixed order quantities. We pack off to the exact m² or lm you need rather than requiring you to round up to a full crate. Measure the total wall area and subtract any openings, and order a small amount extra to account for cuts around corners.
Is Stirling Strata dry stacked or installed with a grout line?
Dry stacking is the more common choice for strata, since the linear pieces sit tight against each other and give a cleaner, more continuous look. It can also be grouted if you want more defined lines between courses.
Can I see Stirling Strata before ordering?
Yes. Stirling is on display in our Oakleigh East showroom at wall scale. Free samples are also available to take away. Showroom hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm and Saturday 9am - 3pm.
