Lumen Crazy Paving

Lumen is a natural split quartz crazy paving in warm sandy and grey tones - the warmer-toned counterpart to Chalazia, which sits in the cooler off-white and grey range. Where Chalazia reads as crisp and contemporary, Lumen brings more warmth, sitting comfortably alongside timber, sandstone and other natural materials that lean towards earthy palettes. Both share the same quartz hardness and natural split face finish; the choice between them is purely tonal.

The irregular crazy paving format at 15-30mm thick lays in an organic pattern with natural variation between pieces. The split face surface is slip-resistant without treatment, and the light base colour keeps heat absorption lower than darker paving options - practical for pool surrounds and barefoot alfresco areas in full sun. Lumen is rated for driveways and handles the full range of outdoor applications from courtyards and garden pathways through to pool coping surrounds.

Being a quartz-based stone, Lumen is exceptionally hard wearing and requires no sealing to maintain its appearance. The colour is stable and doesn't fade in UV exposure, which is worth noting for north-facing areas that see sustained sun through summer.
